The French NEB association, by law 1901, is a state regulated association. It is a non profit association established in 1958 from an initiative by scientists. NEB aims to contribute to the development of research in all fields of Science. NEB is thus responsible for both managing scientific projects and for the administrative and financial management of scientific research programmes entrusted to its members by public or semi-public bodies and by private sector companies. NEB also contributes to support research organizations by means of scholarships, financing the publication of scientific books and thesis, supporting technical training courses and scientific missions, organizing national and international seminars and conferences, or even by donations to scientific foundations. |
